Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh are still two years away, but the state’s main opposition – the YSR Congress party is working hard to capture power in the 2019 elections. YS Jagan visited a remote village Chaparai in East Godavari district. The village is 150 miles away from Rajahmundry and not connected to any town. YS Jagan interacted with the tribals and listened to the problems being faced by them.
It is very rare for political leader to take such a dangerous and tedious trip. It is reported that Jagan had to walk 10 km in the forest area to meet up with the tribal. It is first of its kind that a political leader now-a-days reaches out to tribals in such a remote area.
