Opposition Demand Tamil Nadu CM to Prove Pajority

In AIADMK party the Pro-Dinakaran group has 21 MLAs and all of them are now camping in a star hotel in Puducherry. This rebel group has approached the Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao and expressed their no-confidence in the present government and wanted the removal of Chief  Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami.  The strength of Tamil Nadu Assembly is 233 and majority mark is 117 to form the Government. The AIADMK has 134 MLAs and if Pro-Dinakaran group withdraw support the ruling party will be reduced to minority.
As per the assessment made the number of MLAs opposed to the government is 120. So, the opposition party DMK, submitted a memorandum to Governor to direct the present Government to prove its majority on the floor of Assembly. Further, it is known that the working president of DMK party M.K Stalin may make representation to president of India, if the Governor failed to take action.
