Storm in Mansoon Session of Indian Parliament

The monsoon session of the parliament commenced with understanding among the ruling and the opposition that there will be discussion on range of issues including distress farmer community, violence against Dalits and Lynching of Minorities. The treasury benches found to be protesting and interrupting during the speeches of the opposition party leaders.
In Rajya sabha BSP chief Mayawati was not allowed to complete her speech and there were constant disturbances from the treasury benches. She walked out of the house in protest and the other opposition followed the suit. The situation in Lok Sabha was no different and there also all the opposition walked out and both the houses were adjourned without transacting any business.
After complaining that her voice was muzzled in parliament the Bhujan Samaj Party Chief Mayawati resigned from the Rajya Sabha and submitted her resignation in the evening to Mr. Hamid Ansari the Vice President of India and Chairman of the Rajya Sabha.
Reacting to this by BJP, the Minister of state for Parliamentary Affairs Mr.Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that Ms Mayawati is playing politics in the name of Dalits and she has to apologize for violating the rules of the house.
