Royal Treatment – Dutch King secretly spent 21 years as co-pilot

In a shocking revelation, King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands told Dutch media that he has been  a copilot for a KLM airlines for more than two decades. He said that he has spent 21 years working in the cockpit twice a month,  even after he acceded to the throne in 2013. As a guest flier, Willem-Alexander was always as co-pilot and will retrain to fly Boeing 737s. The 50-year-old father of three and monarch to millions citizens calls,  flying a “hobby”.
