Union Home Minister Amit Shah said in Gandhinagar on Thursday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi made Jammu and Kashmir an integral part of India in one stroke. Shah said this while referring to the Centre’s decision to remove the special status of the state and divide it into two union territories.
He said that under Modi’s leadership, the country has not hesitated to take decisive steps against terrorism. Shah said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi does not take decisions to make people happy. He takes decisions for the good of the people. And they have the courage to pay the political price for making such decisions. In the past no one thought that an Indian leader would lead the world.
He said at the seventh convocation of Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) that India took a decisive decision against terrorism with the 2016 surgical strike and the 2019 air strike.
