Andhra News-VIZAG: Coming to the aid of the protesting employees of the Dredging Corporation of India (DCI), Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan issued an ultimatum to the Central government to rollback the plans of privatization of DCI or watch him withdrawing his support to the BJP. The employees of DCI have been protesting for the past nine days against the Central government's move.
Pawan Kalyan warned the BJP of withdrawing his support if it goes ahead with the proposed privatization plan. "I will not hesitate to be critical of the government's move if the Centre goes ahead with the privatization of DCI. There is no meaning in being a responsible politician when you are not even able to save the lives of these employees. I will withdraw my support to both TDP and the NDA if the government goes ahead with the proposed move", Pawan Kalyan said in his letter to the PMO.
The employees working under the DCI are already on an indefinite strike and are not willing to take a step back until the government shelves the privatization idea.
