In the last few months, there were several rumors on Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s entry into active politics with a focus on 2019 general election. While some predicted it to be in October, others opined that the Janasena leader will start campaigning for his party from January, next year.
However, the wait seems to have finally come to an end for Pawan Kalyan fans. With the shooting of Pawan’s 25th movie Agnyathavaasi being completed, the Janasena chief had decided to step into active politics as soon as possible. In view of this, Pawan Kalyan is set to tour Andhra Pradesh and Telangana starting from tomorrow.
The main agenda of the tour will be to study various issues right from the grassroots level and make the government realize its responsibilities. In a statement, Janasena President Pawan Kalyan said that it is his responsibility to console the family members of students who committed suicides in Osmania University and those who lost their loved ones in Krishna District boating accident. The star hero underlined that his intention is ‘moral’ and ‘not political’.
Further, Pawan took responsibility for farmers death and other issues faced by the people of Andhra Pradesh but pointed out that the government is accountable. “We as politicians are responsible for the current situation of the State. Those who are in power must be held accountable”, he said, sending a wave of doubt about his revolt against the TDP.
“I am not aiming for success and I may not succeed either. My demand is for transparency in governance and accountability of the government. I will reach out to the public to make their voices heard”, he added.
Meanwhile, Janasena Party office in Hyderabad released a video titled ‘Chalo Re Chalo Re Chal’ calling the youth to take part in the process of making the government accountable.
