Kohli Breaks Sachin's 6,000 Mile-Stone Record

Southampton, England: Indian captain, Virat Kohli took another rare record. Kohli became the second Indian cricketer to score 6,000 runs in the very lowest number of innings. Tendulkar (120 innings) was also broken. Sunil Gavaskar (in 117 innings) is the top scorer for India, followed by Sehwag (121 in innings) and Dravid (in 125 innings). Kohli, who has played 70 Test matches so far, has scored 6,000 at an average of 54.61 in 119 innings. There are 23 centuries and 18 half centuries. Virat Kohli made 5994 runs in 118 innings before this match.
