VIJAYAWADA OCTOBER 27: The YSRCP leader intends to commence padayatra from November 6, to improve the personal contacts with the people of the state. The main objective of this programme is to create awareness among the people on failures of the Government in general with particular emphasis on the failure of Chief Minister to obtain Special Category status for the state.
During this padayatra meetings will be conducted at village Rachabandas to interact with local people and in this journey the leaders will sleep in the villages at houses belong to weaker sections. This campaign across the state is planned to hold interaction with people at 5000 locations, attend to 125 public meeting and organise discussions with 180 social organisations. Further, there will be hosting of flags and meetings with party workers during this road show. Over the entire main target is to contact 45 lakhs families and woo the voters to bring the party to power.
To instill innovation into the programme, the party plan to draft election manifesto with local inputs, issues, and data after holding discussion with people.
