India vs Pakistan Match Exptected To Draw Billion TV Viewers

World Champians India is set to take on arch-rival Pakistan in their tournament opener on June 4 at Birmingham. Considered as the world’s biggest sporting rivalry, this match is expected to draw over a billion global TV viewers, much bigger than Super Bowl.
At the back drop of this match, there are escalating political tensions between the two neighboring countries related to Kashmir border. Indian Sports Minister Vijay Goel said “India would not play Pakistan in a bilateral series, while cross-border terror from Pakistan remains. Terror and sports cannot go hand in hand.”
To add to this, there is action off-field in the form of rumored differences between coach Anil Kumble and skipper Virat Kohli. While we all hope that this does not impact the game, Pakistan Super star cricketer, Shahid Afridi conceded that India has better balanced site. He said, “as a passionate Pakistan supporter, it’s natural that I would want my team to finish on the winning side against any team, and especially against India. However, recent history and the depth of the India squad gives it a slight edge heading into the game.”
India  is ranked third in ICC Team ODI rankings and are clear  tournament favorites while, Pakistan are in eighth place.
