Indo China Border: Tension Flared Up Between Troops At The Sikkim Border

Sikkim is a northeastern state of India. It borders China in its north and east, Bhutan in its east, Nepal in its west and the Indian state of West Bengal in its south. India shares about 3,488-km long border with China some of which is not yet delineated. India believes that China does not exists between the Sikkim and Bhutan border.
China has been claiming that the Doklam area in the Sikkim sector has been a traditional pasture for Chinese cattle grazers over which it has historically exercised all-inclusive control. Further china troops are planning to construct the road through this disputed area.
Both countries are building roads and infrastructure in the dispute region which is resulting in disputes of incursions.
China has indirectly warned the Indian Army Chief General Bipin Rawat. Responding to it Defence Minister Arun Jaitley asserted that India of 2017 is different from what it was in 1962. It shows that India can face any eventuality and with stand the super power.
