Popuplar Businessman and former Rajya Sabha MP, Vijay Mallya was arrested in London on Tuesday on behalf of India and produced at magistrate court where he was released on bail. This would mark the begining of a long raod to his extradition. Mallya has nine non-bailable warrants issued against him in India. The extradition proceedings were initiated by the ministry of external affairs (MEA) per CBI guidelines. According to CBI, the bank officials had entered into a criminal conspiracy with the executives of Kingfisher Airlines for “misutilisation, misappropriation and diversion of funds”.
