CM Chandrababu plays video of PM Modi's promise on Special status in Assembly

Andhra News: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is not leaving any stone unturned in attacking the Central government, ever since his party left the NDA alliance. Taking a step forward, the State Chief Minister has directly lashed at Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the floor of Assembly by playing the video footages of his promise to AP on SCS.
Speaking in Assembly, Mr. Babu said that he is only reminding the Prime Minister of the promises he made to Andhra Pradesh by playing the video clips. He played video footages of PM Modi’s election promises during the Loksabha elections in 2014 when the Prime Minister went on to say that BJP will not only provide Special status but also extend it.
In another instance, during the foundation stone laying ceremony in Amaravati, Prime Minister Modi said that Central government will fulfill all the promises made to AP under the Reorganisation Act.  “I question him as the Chief Minister of this State, What is your say after watching these video clips?. BJP is clearly playing harmful politics with unethical political interests. I demand an explanation from the Prime Minister”, Chandrababu told the Assembly after playing the video.
“I know that the State BJP will always be trying to bring back the attack on me, to divert from the real issue. That is the reason, I have come up with these records. It is the responsibility of the BJP and the Central government to keep up with the Promise”, he added.
Further, Chandrababu is scheduled to visit New Delhi in the first week of April to discuss the issue of Special Status with various National Leaders.
