Assets Must Be Divided Between Telugu States: AP Opposition Parties Demand

The AP opposition parties gathered at Dharna Chowk to start 96 hours fast .They raised slogans against the state the Government and demanded it to take necessary steps to develop AP as promised by the Centre at the time division of the state. Chief Minister ChandraBabu Naidu should initiate action for division of assets as per the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act, 2014.   In the parliament it was categorically said that A.P. will be accorded special status for five years to boost the development. However, it seems that the present ruling party at centre has kept the issue in abeyance due to this reason, people of AP feel cheated.
Under package for development of North Andhra and Rayalaseema the very meager funds are allotted   as against demanded amount of 24,000 crores.  Though the Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu got elected to the Rajya Sabha from Andhra Pradesh he could not do anything and much expected Zone to Visakhapatnam is not achieved so far.  It is time for The CM to take firm posture against the central and react to the issues with emphasis on prevailing   drought conditions and keep up his promise of development and jobs for the youth.
