AMARAVATI: YSR Congress Party is all set to finalize its strategy for the next six months in an important meeting to be held on October 26 at the Lotus Pond in Hyderabad. YSRCP chief secretary Mr. Vijayasai Reddy issued a circular to all the district committee leaders to this effect and has requested the leaders to be present at the venue by 10.30 AM.
The core committee of the YSRCP, which has been working on the strategy for the upcoming 2019 general election has reportedly sorted out a final plan, based on the inputs and feedback received from leaders across the state. YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will chair the meeting on Thursday and will discuss the plan to be followed by the party for the next six months.
Sources said that the opposition party’s strategy will focus more on the ‘Padayatra program’ and the activities to be carried out in the remaining districts during the course of Padayatra. In addition, a host of issues is set to come up for discussion including the failures of the government, which YSRCP will put forward before the public during the Padayatra.
On the other hand, YSRCP appointed G.V. Devendra Reddy as the chief social media coordinator to look after the overall social media activities of the party. Devendra Reddy, in turn, will appoint volunteers and other party workers, to work as a force on social media and expose the failures of the ruling government through posts and video contents.
