Tata group to invest on Hospitality and Manufacturing in AP

The manufacturing of electric vehicles and building of hotels are the two main interests for investment in AP as revealed by Tata group when the Chief Minister of AP had personal discussions with the said industrialist. The State government is contemplating for constructing one lakh rooms and it will be a boost for the Hotel Industry. These facilities are to be created at picturesque places, to promote the state as a tourist destination.
As per the plan document to promote green mobility, it is proposed to introduce e-buses in Capital city Amaravati area. Considering the environmental safety norms the State wants to promote renewable energy based industries like manufacturing of electric buses etc. The Tata group is already working on electric vehicles and it proposes to release an electric car into the market in next two months.
Mr. Naidu had interactions with many other industrialist giants like Reliance Industries, Godrej group, Mahindra, Aditya Birla group etc. and requested them to participate in the development of the state.
It is also informed that improvements as regard to air connectivity to Vijayawada are being made and it is contemplated that the first international flight from Vijayawada to Singapore would be operated from October 2.
