GUNTUR: The ‘Nara Hamara-TDP Hamara’ programme was successfully organized at BR Stadium in Guntur on Tuesday. Thousands of Muslims gathered at the venue in their traditional outfit. Sitting next to the AP Chief Minister, Vijayawada West MLA and AP Wakf board chairman, Jaleel Khan said that his constituency was developed like never before, by laying out concrete roads, providing water and power supply round the clock, and also with the allotment of Rs.80 crores for Hajj House. He said that CM Chandrababu Naidu allocated Rs.103 crores for the development of the constituency. Jaleel Khan alleged that the YSR Congress leader Jagan Mohan Reddy if elected as Chief Minister, will loot all the properties. He further said that TDP would take care of interests of the people and Chandrababu Naidu is the only politician who has the courage to take on the BJP at the national level. He said Haj houses were being built in Vijayawada and Kadapa and had taken up several schemes during the past four years for the welfare of Muslims and minorities in general.

Taking a cue at UP election results recently, TDP president Nara Chandrababu Naidu said that Muslim minorities will vote for the Telugu Desam Party in the upcoming elections, while YSR Congress and Jan Sena parties will face humiliating defeat. He said that “Not a single Muslim vote or minority vote should go to those parties. If you vote for them, you are indirectly voting for the BJP. I am sure you will not do that.”

Chandrababu said the Wakf Board was formed under the leadership of Jaleel Khan to protect Wakf properties. He said he had also opposed the stringent penal provisions in the triple talaq bill and promised full security to Muslims and minorities in the State.
