Under the able leadership of the Information and technology Minister N. Lokesh, the Centre of Excellence (CoE) on the Internet of Things in collaboration with NASSCOM will be established soon in the City of Vizag. Similarly, three centers of excellence in robotics will soon take shape in Vijayawada and Tirupati besides Vizag. It is further learned that the Andhra Pradesh Innovation Society (APIS) is working hard and on top priority, it wishes to transform the Andhra Pradesh into an innovation valley. It is contemplated to inspire the students to develop as an entrepreneur and come up with innovative thinking.
Mr. Winny Patro, Chief Executive of APIS informed that it is being planned to organize a series of boot-camps and run incubation camps in colleges to promote entrepreneurship among students. Incentives will be provided to students who participate in the various challenges to find understandable solutions to numerous problems. Mr. Patro further added that the society has already engaged with 200 domain experts to achieve the above-said objective.
