2 Kg Morphine Found In Food Trolley In Air India Flight

As Air India Chairman and Managing Director Ashwani Lohani is working on socializing disinvestment by the government, around 2 kg of morphine was found in the air India plane. Catering supervisor found two packets in a catering trolley as the Air India aircraft taxied at the Indira Gandhi International airport. He said that morphine was wrapped in a black tape and hidden beneath the cutlery. The air craft arrived from Chennai early on Wednesday.
Suspecting narcotics, the incident has been reported to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officials. After the inspection, NCB officials confirmed the substance as morphine.
